Lucy is a Lecturer in Law on the Penryn Campus teaching Land Law, Equity and Trusts and Contract Law.
Lucy joined the Law School Cornwall in Penryn in September 2024. Lucy is a qualified solicitor (non-practising) and has been in legal education for over 16 years. She was a Senior Lecturer at the University of Westminster and a Learning Coach at BARBRI Global. Lucy has also been Teaching Fellow at the University of London Worldwide and a Consultant for the QLTS School.
Throughout her career in legal education, Lucy has been a deputy course leader, lecturer and module leader and has been involved with the LLB Law Honours Degree, Graduate Diploma in Law, LLM in Legal Practice, Master's in Law and Solcitors Qualifying Examination.
In practice Lucy specialised in property transactions, dealing with all aspects of residential conveyancing and commercial property transactions, and became Head of Residental Conveyancing at her firm.
As well as teaching all aspects of Land Law, Property Practice and Commercial Property, she has experience in teaching the skills of legal writing, interviewing and advising and legal research. She has also supervised students in clinical work relating to land and property cases.
