Dr Cristiana Olcese

I am a Lecturer in Comparative Politics at Exeter based in the Cornwall campus within HaSS, an interdisciplinary department that aligns with my cultural and political interests. Previously I worked at the University of Manchester and the London School of Economics. I teach Comparative Politics, Environmental Politics and runs the Berlin Field Trip. By employing a number of innovative strategies and approaches, including experiential learning, social aesthetics and diversified assessment, I aim to create a classroom that is a site of research-based, action-oriented democratic learning.
